We have lived here for nearly 30 years and during that time have adapted the bungalow for our needs. We did away with the second bedroom which we didn't need to provide a large living space, we have a wet room and electrically operated garage doors, gates and sun shade, it is ideal for a retired couple. If you want the second bedroom it can easily be converted back. If you want to expand further you can utilise the loft the way many others in the street have or, if you do not like the garage that could be incorporated into the house making the whole place much larger whilst still being a bungalow.
North Weald is a small place but there is a surprising number of things within a short walking distance of the bungalow, a primary school for your children, a garage to service your car, a post office, a vets surgery to look after your pets, a huge dog walking area, A chemist for your prescriptions, a betting shop, a supermarket, a couple of restaurants, a chip shop, a village hall with a huge array of activities.
